The Doctoral Programme leading to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Forestry and allied subjects at the institute of Forestry (IOF) of theTribhuvan University (TU) is intened for those who wish to develop academic excellence in teaching and research in the field of:
a. Forestry,
b. Community Forestry,
c. Watershed Management,
d. Natural Resource Management and Rural Development, and
e. Wildlife Management and Biodiversity Conservation.
The progamme requires candidate to attain a high standard academic achievement and contribute substantially to the field of scientific knowledge through original research for being admitted to Degree of PhD, the filed of study at the IOF.
